NIC Inc., the leading provider of outsourced eGovernment portals, joined with Cranial Tap, Inc. to create a virtual presence in Second Life®. Showcasing a wide array of services within this 3D environment was a natural fit.

Visitors will begin their visit with a guided tour through three main buildings on the island:

The corporate building features social spaces and a large auditorium that hosted their annual shareholder meeting in May of 2009, held simultaneously in-world.

The Hall of States provides meeting space and state of the art data visualization that displays interactive and informational material.

The high tech Innovate building showcases the many different ways visitors can collaborate and communicate within the virtual environment using tools created by Cranial Tap, such as a model importer and our object morphing solution.
